Cynthia's story so far... I have been involved and a part of the church culture my entire life and I still like it! My father planted a church in South Louisiana in the 80's...I attended Liberty University from 1992-95 and served at Thomas Road Church during that time in the music ministry as a keyboardist/singer. I met my husband Todd in the spring of 1992 and we were married in June 1995. We have 2 absolutely gorgeous children, Sydney (3) and Sean (6 months). Over the past 12 years, I have served at several churches in the areas of music and arts in Miami, Atlanta, New York City, and now Hilton Head Island, SC. My husband and I are starting a new campus of LowCountry Community Church on Hilton Head Island and we launch in the Fall of 2007. On a professional note, I have produced several independent records for artists and churches and contributed as a songwriter for most of them with my writing partner, Donna Stroud. Music has always been a part of my life. My grandfather was a minister of music in Texas and my mom was his church pianist. I am proud of the church music heritage that runs in my family. I love rehearsing (almost more than performing!) and I love the intricate parts that make music the language that it is to the world. I love reading novels, songwriting, good theater, movies that move me, and art that makes me speechless. I started blogging about a year and a half ago and it has been one of the greatest creative outlets for me.<cheval glass > I enjoy sharing what I am learning in all areas of my life from good restaurants to good books to what God is teaching me on my journey. I enjoy reading and discussing arts in our culture and how we can speak to it through the church.
